Matt, 36 - Breast Surgeon
I'm a surgeon operating on all forms of breast disease, primarily cancer and also undertaking reconstruction after cancer surgery. My job is varied from day to day. I get to meet patients from all different walks of life and at times at the absolute lowest point of their life. Equally, I have the chance to make a huge difference to people’s lives and am so fortunate to work in a job that I love - one of the lucky people who is happy to be going to work every day!

My big tip...
Pick a route that means something to you - you have to love it and then be dedicated to it. You will always have time to change your mind and go down another path, so just enjoy each path at a time.
